on october, 3rd, i got a new experience, rafting! hey, it have been a month ago but i still feel like it just happened yesterday. that was my first time experience in rafting and that was really fun. i swear that i really reallly really wanna do it again. oh well, as long as you know i loved this kind of activities. have i told you about my hiking trip to merapi mountain? oh well, i'm sorry i didn't mention it first. next time i'll post about that, it can wait i guess. and for now, i'll like to tell about my first time experience of rafting.
saturday morning, when i wake up from my slumber i got a text from mas candra. he invited me to join a rafting trip. actually i've heard about this plan but i didn't recognize it at all. then i confirmed to mas hudi (by the way, this is mas hudi's project). and after i read about his explanation i considered this invitation. i wonder what kind of interesting thing that i could do this weekend but i got nothing. so, i just accepted to this invitation with out any consideration.
sunday morning, i prepared for the rafting. you know what the stupid side of mine? i didn't even know about the people i would going with. all i know just that we would gather at jamoeran restaurant. but that's okay for me as long as i could have fun with them. as i know, they are mas hudi's friends from tourism college named stipram. they are really nice persons with fun behavior, young and wild. and i like them. haha
we jumped to the water from blondo, mertoyudan. but before we really jumped ito the water, we got a briefing about rafting, safety and the field. oh, sorry i forgot to mention about the river. it was elo river, located in magelang regency of central java. the field started from blondo, mertoyudan and end up at mendut, borobudur. um... then, after the little briefing we divided into groups for boats. one boat filled with six person and accompanied by a guide. i was at the same boat with mas candra hlo. hehe
if you ask me about the facilities? there were exist. for safety we got a helmet and life jacket. and also a professional guide. we had a shelter in the middle of paddling and that place called check point. in this place we had snack and young coconut. and we also got lunch after the rafting at jamoeran restaurant. i also got the certificate and new friends :D
eh, you know what the most gratify things about rafting? yeah, get wet. i loved it when the boat was passing the cascade and we would feel like shaking. and and, when we dropped each other to the water. i was truly get wet then. hahaha. although i thought that the field not that hard to passed by, but i swear that was truly fun. and i'm really really really wanna do it again. and and and, the most important things, nature itself. you won't never ever could ignore the scenery. on boat, the water let us join the flow, with the quiet sound of nature between the walls of plants. it was a peace nature. and once more i felt small after all of His creation. such an awesome experience! :)
